The Wandsworth Town Christmas Festival returns on Saturday 25th November. The day features a makers market, live entertainment, kids’ activities, Christmas lights switch-on and more. This post tells you everything you need to know about this year’s event.
Wandsworth Town Christmas Festival 2023
Wandsworth Town Business Improvement District (BID) and Southside Shopping Centre are bringing Christmas cheer to the heart of South West London on Saturday 25 November with the much anticipated return of Wandsworth Town Christmas Festival.
10am – Makers Market
The day kicks off from 10am with a huge festive makers market at Ram Quarter from Design Led. The sustainable and boutique market will give shoppers the opportunity to bag amazing and unique gifts, including skin care, homeware, fashion, jewellery, artwork, and more.
Lee Wilson, the director of Design Led, said, “Expect gorgeous products you won’t find anywhere else!”
4:30pm – Christmas Light Switch-on
Over the road at Southside Wandsworth, Riverside Radio will be hosting a stage of live performances throughout the day, including music, dance and theatre. Little ones will get the chance to meet Father Christmas himself and there’ll be lots more family fun, including kids’ rides, photo opportunities and magic.
The big Christmas light switch-on will take place at the Riverside Radio stage on Southside’s piazza at 4:30pm.

We are proud to represent a business community that really has something for everyone, and we think the Christmas Festival is an amazing opportunity to show what Wandsworth Town is about.
Events in Southside Shopping Centre
Last year’s hugely popular Nutcracker Trail also returns to the shopping centre this Christmas. Track down those naughty nutcrackers and solve the Christmas clues to be in with a chance of winning some amazing prizes, including a Nintendo Switch console, a Gravity ‘Golden Ticket’ for you and two friends, and an amazing toy bundle from The Entertainer!
Southside’s Kindness Elves will also be dotted throughout the centre, encouraging us all to adopt random acts of kindness and be selfless in the season of giving.
There’s plenty of fun to be had for big kids as well, with amazing local venues like Gravity, Strike and Boom Battle Bar offering fantastic value on games, food and drinks.
Christmas is a magical time of year and we wanted to bring some of that magic to the heart of Wandsworth. We’re delighted to continue supporting this event and we hope that everyone in the community has a fantastic day celebrating with us.
