Clapham has become a popular place for young professionals to meet for brunch at the weekends. The main high street, and the area around the common is filled with delicious restaurants which are known for their great brunches! This post lists some of the top places to go for brunch in Clapham.

21 The Pavement, London, SW4 0HY. Tel: 020 7720 4105
Minnow restaurant is directly opposite Clapham Common, and has lots of seating outside (check out the photo below). It’s one of my favourite brunch places for the summer months. Their prices are also really reasonable! You can get an “express brunch” which includes poached eggs on toast, any hot drink and fresh orange juice for £10.
Minnow is open for brunch seven days a week, and also serves cocktails like Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Some of their brunch options include French toast with maple syrup, smashed avocado on sourdough toast, and vegan options like porridge or coconut yoghurt.
Must-try: The Express Brunch which includes poached eggs on toast, a hot drink and orange juice.
2. Megan’s Clapham Old Town
55-57 The Pavement, London, SW4 0JQ. Tel: 020 3468 0215
Megan’s is the perfect place if you want to go for brunch in a large group, as they have plenty of space inside. Their brunch menu includes Turkish eggs, shakshorizo baked eggs and shakshouka baked eggs. At the weekends you can also get a N’duja Brunch Brioche which includes a brioche bun filled with n’duja, bacon, sausage, fried egg, cheddar & hash browns.
I always look for the vegetarian and vegan options when I go for brunch, and Megan’s has both a full veggie and full vegan brunch, as well as a Turkish brunch feast which is vegetarian.
Must-try: The veggie brunch is great! It comes with eggs, grilled halloumi, smashed avocado, steamed spinach, and toast.
11 The Polygon, London, SW4 0JG
Willows has one of the best brunch menus I’ve seen! You build your own brunch by picking options from the following categories: bakery, dairy, protein and greens. You can choose between 3-5 options.
When I went I picked one option from the bakery (sourdough bread), two protein options (scrambled eggs and smoked salmon), and one green (avocado).
I think Willows do one of the best brunches in the Clapham area, as their menu is a little different and lets you create the exact meal that you want. The “build your own” style brunch means each option comes on a separate little plate on a wooden board.
Must-try: The banana bread is delicious and comes with vanilla mascarpone, white chocolate crumb, and berry compote.
4. No 32 The Old Town
32 The Pavement, London, SW4 0JF. Tel: 020 3535 0910
No 32 The Old Town has a large roof terrace which is great in the summer months, as well as seating directly outside. It’s also nice and cozy inside for colder days. I think this is one of the best brunch spots for views of Clapham Common as the roof terrace overlooks the common.
This restaurant serves all the traditional brunch options like eggs royale, eggs benedict, and a house breakfast. They also have shakshouka, sweetcorn and courgette hash, and a plant based breakfast. Their buttermilk pancakes are also very popular.
Must-try: Avocado Green Goddess on Wildfarmed Sourdough Toast
5. Over Under Coffee – Clapham
25 The Pavement, London SW4 0JA. Tel: 020 3807 8019
Over Under Coffee is directly opposite Clapham Common, and very popular with dog walkers and commuters. It’s a really cute little cafe that serves tasty fresh banana bread. I tried their avocado on toast with a chai latte which was also delicious.
If you like coffee, this restaurant has a wide selection of coffees including piccolo, turmeric latte, and matcha latte. They also serve mushrooms on toast and a granola bowl. Since it is so close to Clapham Common tube station, this cafe is a popular choice for commuters.
Must-try: Their banana bread is delicious and baked fresh daily.
17 The Pavement, London, SW4 0HY. Tel: 020 7498 6434
Common is another restaurant directly opposite Clapham Common. They are very dog friendly, so it’s a popular place for people who walk their dogs on the common. As well as being a brunch place, it is also a gift shop and wine bar.
This restaurant has a good selection of hot drinks and coffees, as well as smoothies and cakes. Their brunch menu includes hummus and pesto on sourdough and brioche French toast.
Must-try: The French toast is very popular and comes with pecans, maple syrup, figs, banana & coconut flakes
7. Brickwood Coffee & Bread

Brickwood Coffee & Bread serve breakfast, brunch and breaky baps. They have lots of healthy options including a super salad that comes with seasonal greens, avocado, lentils sweet potato, corn and seeds. You can also add a poached egg or some chicken.
Brickwood also make a great breakfast burger which comes with a sausage pattie, melted cheese, a poached egg and a chicken salted hash. This is the perfect spot if you want somewhere close to the common, and close to the tube station.

BOBO & WILD has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. They also serve some delicious cakes (check out the photo below). Their menu is divided into eggs, bowls, sweets, toasts and sides, and they serve brunch all day!
Some of the brunch dishes include Turkish eggs, truffle eggs, eggs benedict, silk road eggs, and chorizo eggs. They also serve vegan hotcakes and salad bowls.

This place has a great atmosphere and really friendly staff. It might be a good choice if you are looking for somewhere that serves brunch in the afternoon. Please note they only do the bottomless brunch on Saturdays.
Must-try: The vegan brunch burger is nice and comes with hash browns.
68-70 Clapham High St, London, SW4 7UL. Tel: 020 7627 2726
Aquum is another bar in Clapham that serves a bottomless brunch at the weekends. Unlike MOMMI, Aquum is also open on Sundays. The brunch menu includes a full English, shakshuka, crumpets, and a chicken waffle along with bottomless prosecco.
Both Aquum and MOMMI are located on Clapham High Street, and are great places to go for a fun bottomless brunch. This restaurant has a good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Tonight Josephine is a cocktail bar that serves brunch in the afternoon from 3:30pm-5pm. Their brunch events include a Mamma Mia Brunch, and Beyoncé Drag Brunch. This would be a good choice if you are looking for somewhere with a party atmosphere and vibrant interior.
The brunch menu includes grilled halloumi burger, and chicken burger. They don’t have any of the traditional brunch options like eggs or porridge, but its a great choice if you’re looking for a fun weekend brunch in the afternoon.
Must-try: Grilled halloumi burger with fries.

Tropix is a cocktail bar and restaurant near Clapham North tube station, that serves an epic bottomless brunch. You get twelve sharing plates and bottomless cocktails for 2 hours.
The menu includes nachos, mac and cheese, lamb tacos, buttermilk Chicken fries, and tropical mango creme brule for desert. Unlike MOMMI and Aquum, the bottomless brunch at Tropix is served everyday. This would be a good choice if you have a large group as they can cater for up to 40 people.
