The William Morris pub is housed in a charming historic building that was once part of the Liberty Mills print works. It is close to the site of the original William Morris factory, which once stood where the Sainsbury’s is today.
This is a riverside pub with a large outdoor space overlooking the Wandle. Their menu includes traditional pub food like ale battered cod and chips, Wagyu beef burgers, and Sunday roasts.

The Wandle Pirates is a quirky little restaurant in Merton Abbey Mills Market, with a pirate theme. They stock a large selection of rums, as well as cigars, and their food is mostly made from fresh, local produce.
This restaurant serves a variety of seafood including lobster, and prawns, as well as steak with rosemary potato chips.

Merton Abbey Mills is known for its vibrant arts and crafts community. It has a craft market, theatre and art studios, where local artists can share their talents. It’s not surprising therefore that the Belgian Brasserie, is not only a restaurant where you can buy yummy waffles, but also hosts regular craft activities and film screenings!
Their menu includes breakfast such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, crêpes, and toasted waffles. In the past they have held events for jewellery making, Monet painting, mandala card drawing, and a Christmas bauble workshop.

Ban Yai is a Thai restaurant in Merton Abbey Mills market. They have outdoor seating, and vegan and gluten free options. Their menu includes green curry, chicken satay and pad Thai.
5. SW19 Italian Pizzeria & Trattoria

SW19 Italian make unique pizzas with homemade dough. Their menu includes pizza, pasta, burgers, and a great selection of drinks. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a take away option.

Ting Ting is a Caribbean restaurant with great food and friendly service. The menu includes jerk chicken, mutton curry, and Caribbean rums.

If you are looking for vegan food, Assisted by Nature is a lovely place to visit! The restaurant serves gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options.
Some of their dishes include Quorn chicken pad Thai, chickpea curry, and noodles with tofu.
8. Nanay Rosa

Nanay Rosa is a Filipino restaurant. Their most popular dish is chicken adobo, which is a national dish in the Philippines. They also sell a pork bowl, and chicken thighs marinated in pineapple.
Visiting this restaurant was a great experience, as they have really tasty food and friendly staff.
9. Watermill Restaurant

The Watermill restaurant is just a short walk from the Wandle Trail. Inside you will find a cafe, bar and carvery. The cafe serves classic breakfasts, as well as burgers and hotdogs for lunch. The carvery serves roast beef, roast pork or roast turkey breast every Sunday.
