Battersea Power Station has two cinemas: The Cinema In The Power Station and The Cinema in The Arches, (formerly known as Archlight Cinema). This post explains the difference between the two cinemas, to help you decide which one to visit!
Battersea Power Station Cinema Guide
The two cinemas at Battersea Power Station are not located close to each other. One is inside the Power Station itself, on the 3rd floor of Turbine Hall B. The other is located under the railway arches, on Arches Lane, close to the Turbine Theatre and Battersea Brewery. Both cinemas show all the latest releases.
What are the Differences Between the Two Cinemas?
The main differences between the two cinemas are the size of the screens and the amenities at each location.
The Cinema in the Arches has three small screens, whereas the Cinema in the Power Station has two large screens. This means you get a more intimate experience at the Cinema in the Arches.
The Cinema in the Power Station however allows you to book private boxes which seat 2-4 people, and have individual mini-bars. Although it is not currently open, the Cinema in the Power station will also have a private members bar and restaurant connected to it.
Both cinemas offer:
- Reclining seats
- 4 hours parking with your ticket
- A film club
- Refreshments

How to Find the Cinema in the Power Station
The Cinema in the Power Station is on level 3 of Turbine Hall B. The escalator takes you straight from level 1 to level 3.
How to Find the Cinema in the Arches
The Cinema in the Arches is found right at the end of Arches Lane. You will see three canopies over three arches, which is where the three cinema screens are located.
